a type of remote used for surveillance activities, seekers were developed to assist law enforcement agencies in tracking down criminals. A seeker could be programmed to search out and immobilze a specific target, but in general they were only moderately successful in their missions. Widespread use of seekers diminished during the New Order, although many backwater law enforcement agencies embraced them.
