this device is attached to a standard scomp link, and is used to destroy the computer system attached to the link. Once inserted into the scomp link, a power pack is then attached to the scomp-spiker. Once the scomp-spike is charged, it emitted a high-voltage spike of energy into the computer system, destroying the local computer substation and several downstream components.
