this was the model number of a pair of stun cuffs developed by Locris Syndicated Securities. Like other such devices, the SC-401 automatically adjusted its cuffs to the size of the being in custody, and continued to tighten if the being tried to struggle out of the cuffs. The cuffs could only be removed by entering a seven-digit code into the keypad.
