Sacheen-class Escort Ship
this starship was the first of the new class of ships designed for use by the New Republic. It measured 375 meters in length, and served as the blueprint for the Hajen-class fleet tender. They were the smallest of the new class designed for independent operations, and were often assigned screening duties in support of large fleets. The could also served as system patrol ships when supported by a squadron of starfighters berthed in its main hangar area. The Sacheen-class escort was armed with 10 heavy turbolaser cannons, 8 laser cannons, and 8 ion cannons, and was equipped with a Class-1 hyperdrive and enhanced shielding and hull plating.
