this woman was one of the few females who rose to political power in the Empire. She was born to a wealthy family with influential connections, but she distinguished herself as a member of the Imperial militia during the assaults which ousted the Alliance from Koradin Sector. She later became the Prefect, then Governor, of the Renillis System four years before the Battle of Yavin. Her belief in the Empire was shattered with the destruction of Alderaan, and the casual acceptance of the destruction by the Emperor and her own staff. Although she hated the Alliance, she was still dismayed by the loss of life during the Galactic Civil War. After the Battle of Endor, she deserted the Empire and took a small frigate and a crew with her to the Outer Rim. There, she established the Sabrin Ring on Sabrix and negotiated with the Hutts for support and protection.
