this species of tree is native to the planet Gacerian. They can grow to incredible sizes, with twelve-meter diameters and up to 100 meters in height. Their root systems reach deep into the planet's crust, and allow the s'ae to respond to the planet's seismic activity. The s'ae trees can detect even slight geological shifts that are undetectable by many races. The s'ae trees have the unique ability to resonate to the pitch and vibration of the earth beneath them, and are known as singing trees by the Gacerites.
