R3-A2
this orange, R3-series astromech was upgraded by Alliance technicians at Echo Base on Hoth to provide coordination of piloting angles and approach vectors during combat. After the Galactic Civil War, R3-A2 was retired from military service, and was part of a pool of droids that were given to Star Tours as mechanics and technicians.
