Republicanists
this was the name given to those Selonians who, during the rise of Thrackan Sal-Solo to power on the planet of Corellia, believed that the planetary repulsors should be used a bargaining chip in negotiations with the New Republic for Selonian sovereignity. They also hoped that they could persuade Han Solo, by rescuing him from Sal-Solo, to help them in these negotiations. Eventually, the part of the Absolutists in the Corellian Crisis allowed the Republicanists to achieve control of their homeworld, when the New Republic dissolved the Absolutists. The Republicanists then set to work to mend their relationship with those Selonians who supported the Sacorrian Triad.
