Rat Roach
this species of insect was known to inhabit the bulkheads of starships and other dark places, where it fed on easily obtained metals such as electrical wiring. They had two antennae, one on each end of their body, and were protected by a collection of sharp quills on their backs. Rat roaches protected themselved by curling up their antennae and rolling into a ball shape, exposing all their quills.
