this piece of equipment controls the strength and magnitude of a repulsor-driven craft, such as a pod racer. The grip maintains the vehicle's "grip" on the ground below it. The R-series has several versions, each capable of a specific amount repulsor force. They are numbered in strength from R-20 (light duty gripping strength) to R-600 (highest amount of grip).
