Quenno
this was one of the two factions of the Saurton race. The Quenno opposed the "progress" of the Des'mar faction, wishing to return Essowyn to the complete control of the Saurton. The Quenno felt that the major mining corporations which moved in to mine the system's asteroid belts were taking control of Essowyn and leaving nothing for the Saurton. Despite their obvious majority, the Quenno couldn't make much progress because it lacked the wealth and power of the Des'mar.
