this was the brand name of Incom's automated messenger droid, developed for use by the fledgeling New Republic. Measuring 6.2 meters in length, these drones were equipped with hyperdrives in order to get messages from one location to another as quickly as possible. The Q-Signal could carry up to 800 kilograms of cargo, which could include datacards and computer cores.
