Pring, Praleena
this young woman was Dandamont Pring's daughter. Her lover was an minor bureaucrat assigned to Consul-General Pring himself, although he planned to defect to the Alliance. However, he would only turn himself over if the Alliance helped him bring Praleena with him. The plan to extricate the defector was a success, much to the dismay of Consul-General Pring, who lost his only daughter.
