Pom-hopper
this species of small, dog-like creature was native to the swamps of Naboo, where it was more at home on the water than on land. It used its large, webbed feet to travel across the broad surfaces pom leaves, searching for blossoms and other plantlife to eat. The pom hopper also laid its eggs in the water, just under the leaves of the pom plant, to protect them until the young emerge and swim to the surface. When threatened, pom-hoppers dove under the surface of the water and hung just below the surface, with only their nostrils breaking the surface.
