this is a species of large-leafed, green plant that grows in the swamps of the planet Naboo. They resemble lilypads, and can fill a small swamp in just a few seasons. The seeds of the pom plant are eaten as a snack by the Gungans, and the roots of the pom are dried and ground up for use in making flour.
