Podrace Balloon
this is a generic term used to describe the various flotation devices used to hold cameras or bold spectators over a podracing arena. Often filled with tibanna gas, these ungainly balloons hover above the course and allow an unobstructed view of the nearby course. Spectators who ride in podrace balloons often do so at their own risk, because the racers (or their cronies) often shoot them down, hoping to eliminate a potential camera position and allow more underhanded racing to take place.
