a substance used to create vacuum-seal storage pouches, plastine was originally created as a shapeless covering for the plastidroids produced by Cestus Cybernetics. These droids were developed during the height of the Clone Wars, and the plastine sacs that held their components ensured that the plastidroids could assume any shape required to fulfull their missions.
