this was the designation of an Kuat Drive Yards spacedock produced during the height of the New Order. Measuring 1,600 meters across, this station required a crew of 5,500 officers and 64 gunners, and could accommodate up to 500 passengers. Armed with eight turret-mounted turbolaser batteries, the OSD-III was designed as an orbital starship construction and repair facility.
