this star was the central body in the Novor System. Many millennia before the Battle of Hoth, Novor Major expanded into a red giant, tearing apart the seventeen inner-most planets in the system. The outer 16 planets survived the expansion, and their environments were quickly modified by the additional radiation from the star.
