Neutron Dissembler
these weapons were theorized, but never actually developed, by the scientists of the Old Republic. The theory was that a neutron dissembler acted at the sub-molecular level, disrupting the bonds which held neutrons together and caused matter to "melt." The resulting damage appeared like scar tissue.
