this New Republic Navy Admiral was promoted to senior flag officer just prior to the Republic's blockade of the Koornacht Cluster, following the Yevethan Purge. He was briefly considered as a choice to replace Etahn A'baht as commander of the Fifth Battle Group during the blockade, but was a real candidate after the capture of Han Solo.
