Mott
this swift-moving, herbivorous creature resembled a small hippopotamus, and was native to the planet Naboo. They have sharp claws and small horn on the end of their snouts, all of which are used to dig up the delicate flowers of the Naboo plains. Individual motts can be domesticated, but they often uproot their owner's gardens. Motts were the favored prey of many of Naboo's predators, and the motts evolved to reproduce rapidly. Up to fifteen young were born per litter. Each community of motts was led by a dominant male and, maybe, a lieutenant which guarded the newborns.
