this was a series of modular weapon which could be mounted on a vehicle. The various configurations were denoted by number (Mk 1/S, Mk 2/S, etc.) to denote the power of the weapon. Depending on needs, the Mk series could be mounted as a medium or heavy blaster cannon, a light or medium laser cannon, or a grenade launcher.
