this huge machine is similar to the Jawa Sandcrawler, and performed the function those sandcrawlers were designed to perform. They blast up large pieces of rock and draw it into huge processing facilities within its structure. The processed ore is stored for later delivery to a central collection center, while the scree is simply dumped out.
