this aging Alliance starfighter pilot was known to his comrades as Pops. He had trained on Y-Wings, and served as Gold Five during the Battle of Yavin. He died during the first trench run against the Death Star. Note that this contradicts the Star Wars Customizable Card Game, which indicates Pops was the nickname of Davish Krail.
