Melida/Daan
this planet was divided by an intense civil war some twelve years before the Battle of Naboo. Named for the two factions that fought for its surface, Melida/Daan was a rugged world of rocky hills and scrub vegetation. The two factions each named the planet after tehmselves during the thirty-year struggle, and the Old Republic elected to use both names when it catalogued the planet.
