this Imperial Major directed the counterattack against the Ewoks during the Battle of Endor. Originally from Kessel, Marquand was a crewer on an AT-AT assigned to the Devastator before being transferred to the Imperial garrison on Endor. Marquand and his co-pilot, Lieutenant Watts, were captured when Chewbacca and a pair of Ewoks commandeered their AT-ST scout walker.
