Maria
a Lambda-class shuttle used by a high-ranking Alliance official, the Maria was forced to stop for repairs and was attacked by the Star Destroyer Malice. The shuttle was rescued by a squadron of X-Wings. The shuttle was later used to transport Princess Leia Organa to the Tantive IV, along with the plans for the first Death Star. As noted earlier, this contradicts the Star Wars Radio Drama, which has Leia onboard the Tantive IV, receiving the plans via tight-beam transmission from the planet Toprawa.
