Maltaz
an Imperial General who was at one time in command of the Hell's Hammer unit on Turak IV. There, he allowed his squadron to be cut of from its supply lines by the Alliance soldiers hidden in the Hitak mountains. Then, further compounding his bad decision, he ordered his squadron to stand and fight. The Alliance soldiers quickly reduced the Hammers to three tanks, but the Hammers' never-say-die attitude kept them in the battle long enough for TIE Fighter reinforcements to arrive and bombard the Alliance's landing field.
