this was the Kamarian term used to describe something that demanded an offering. It had a slightly religious connotation, since the ability to observe the mak-tk-klp involved the surrender of one's q'mai. Han Solofirst heard the term when Lisstik used it to describe the holofeature Varn, World of Water, which the Badlanders worshipped for its displays of a world where water was everywhere.
