Maendin, Lar
this native of Vastrip IV was a scout who served the Alliance during the Galactic Civil War. He personally located several planets that were later used as bases and safeworlds. However, following the Battle of Endor, Maendin defected from the Alliance and began working as an independent operative. He was known to have sold the locations of Alliance and New Republic bases to the Empire, and all of them have had to be evacuated before Imperial forces destroyed them. He also has been known to scout out remote planets for use by the remnants of the Empire.
