M-3PO, or Emtrey to the pilots of Rogue Squadron, was a protocol and regulations droid working for the New Republic Navy. He was assigned to Rogue Squadron at the same time Tycho Celchu was named XO, more to keep an eye on Celchu than to provide input on military protocol.
