this barren, disused planet was located in the Karthakk System, in a remote sector of the galaxy. It was here that the Trade Federation first tested the automata of its vast droid army, in preparation for the blockade and invasion of Naboo some thirty-two years before the Battle of Yavin. The red-sand deserts found on the planet were broken by sulphur seas and lava pits, as well as jagged mountains and abandoned cities.
