Lectroticker
this jury-rigged device is used to get through security card locks. It employs a sense plate from a pressure sensor and a data compiler from a life form detector. The lectroticker sends out a series of electrical pulses, and the data compiler reads where the pulse patterns match between the sense plate and the lock. The exact pattern can be manipulated using the data compiler until the lock's code is discovered. Once an exact match is found, the lock springs open.
