this was the model number of Merr-Sonn's laser detection trip device. The LCT components were extremely small, and could be concealed almost anywhere. Anything passing through the beams between two sensors tripped the circuit, signalling a central computer of the intrusion. Most often, an array of LCT trips was placed at half-meter increments across doorways and windows to ensure coverage.
