Annoo
this agricultural planet was the homeworld of the Ret, a race of smooth-skinned, cold-blooded humanoids. Before the planet was conquered by the Annoo-dat, however, the planet was known as Gelefil. When the Annoo-dat defeated the Ret some 322 years before the Battle of Yavin, the two races eventually became a single society. After a century or so of peace, the planet was renamed to Annoo, in honor of its conquerors. The planet was thrown into turmoil a few years before the onset of the Clone Wars. General Ashaar Khorda led a military coup to overthrow the government, but was thwarted by the forces of the Old Republic. General Khorda fled into hiding, and the Republic installed its own government on Annoo. Annoo
