designed by Seinar Fleet Systems, this laser cannon was created for interoperability with any model of TIE fighter. It was also designed to eliminate the overheating problems encountered with the L-s1 cannon. Its standard configuration allowed it to be easily deployed throughout the Imperial fleet.
