Kut, Polvin
this well-muscled man was a Jedi Knight, some 200 years before the Battle of Naboo. He took as his apprentice the alien Yaddle, and together they traveled to the planet Koba in order to defeat the warlord Tulak. Unfortunately for Yaddle, Polvin Kut was prone to stirrings of the Dark Side, and desired to exact revenge on Tulak for his killing of Kut's parents years before. His judgement lapsed during the struggle, and Tulak beheaded him in Koban Gorge. Yaddle herself was buried alive.
