Kryll
this Alliance General was in charge of the Outer Rim Communications Center during the Galactic Civil War. Kryll was a former Imperial officer who defected to the Alliance after the destruction of Alderaan. He often told his troops that he defected, not because of Alderaan, but because the Empire didn't appreciate his wonderful tenor voice. He later served the New Republic on Generis, and was able to evacuate Travia Chan when the Imperial forces under the command of Grand Admiral Thrawn managed to retake the planet.
