a native of the planet Tamban, Aitro Koornacht was an Old Republic astronomer. He was the first to see the collection of star systems now known as the Koornacht Cluster, on a night when he discovered Emperor Preedu III's First Observer and a young woman in a groundcoach. The Observer named the new star cluster after Koornacht, in returned for keeping the incident a secret.
