this Imperial Navy Captain was given temporary command of the flagship Super-class Star Destroyer Executor shortly after the Battle of Hoth, when Darth Vader was called to Coruscant by the Emperor. Vader had executed Admiral Ozzel for incompetence, promoting Firmus Piett from Captain to Admiral. Kallic took Piett's place as Captain.
