Kal Mpon
an Arcona, and father to Kal Nkai. When his Grand Nest was raided by another clan, Kal Mpon and his son left to find their own existence on Cona. They set out to live off the land, but Kal Mpon was killed when he got too close to one of Cona's predatory plants. The plant issued a colorless, odorless gas, which Kal Mpon inhaled. The gas killed him instantly.
