K-8LR
a series of silver protocol droids. Jabba the Hutt owned one just before the Battle of Yavin. When Muftak and Kabe tried to rob Jabba's Mos Eisley townhouse, they freed K-8LR of his restraining bolt, and the droid allowed them to escape while the townhouse was destroyed in a firefight. Jabba became angry with his K-8LR and had it destroyed.
