Legend

located on the planet Tatooine, the Jundland Wastes mark the border between the Western Dune Sea and the Great Mesa Plateau. The Wastes were formed of rocky outcroppings and craggy shelves of sandstone, with windswept canyons which were formed by erosion. It was here that Luke Skywalker and C-3PO are attacked by the Sandpeople while searching for R2-D2, just prior to the Battle of Yavin.
