Jubilee Wheel
this space station was constructed in orbit around Ord Mantell during the early years of the New Republic, and was comprised mainly of salvaged parts and Hutt-supplied structures. The station resembled a large, open wheel, with spokes connecting the central hub to the outer ring. For the most part, the Jubilee Wheel was independent of the activities on Ord Mantell. During the Yuuzhan Vong invasion of the galaxy, a strange ship known as the Dread Weapon attacked the Wheel, clamping a thick umbilical to the station and literally sucking out its inhabitants. Many believed that those who survived and were captured were later turned into slaves by the Yuuzhan Vong.
