Jarell
native to the planet Oon Tien, this race of strong, primitive reptiloids which were first contacted by the Old Republic some 300 years before the Battle of Endor. These immense humanoids were characterized by their wide skulls, which were crowned by four bony ridges of short spikes, and surrounded by a mass of thick tendrils where their mouths should be. Young Jarells were often forced to live as indentured servants to corporate leaders, crimelords, ands affluent citizens, as part of a series of arrangements made by the monarchy of Oon Tien.
