a former sharpshooter, Janse was a native of the planet Ukio before joining the Alliance shortly before the Battle of Endor. He had been employed by BlasTech as a weapons design evaluator, and used his skills to help the Alliance as a scout and hunter. When he left BlasTech, he took with him a cache of A280 blaster rifles. He was part of the ground assault team that infiltrated the Empire's shield generator station on the Forest Moon of Endor.
