this planet has a large number of holographic advertising signs scattered across its surface. It creates a dazzling nighttime vista. Located along the Corellian Run, Ixtlar was one of many planets captured by the Yuuzhan Vong during their invasion of the galaxy. This allowed the alien invaders to control a good portion of the Corellian Run, forcing the New Republic to use other routes for Coreward travel.
