Iotran Police Force
known simply as the IPF, this Iotran military force was created from the various military orders that supported former Iotran nations. When the Iotran nations agreed to unify themselves some 700 years before the Galactic Civil War, the various orders were consilidated into the IPF. They act as law enforcers, national guardsmen, and rescue workers throughout Iotran society. Each Iotran who reaches the age of fourteen seasons (about 18 standard years) must serve a tour of duty in the IPF, during which time they learn basic military training.
