Ion
this small, eight-legged rodent was discovered in the engine compartment of the Shadow Chaser by Jacen Solo, while the ship was en route to Kashyyyk. The small creature had chewed up several components of the ship's ion shielding, and this caused the ship to be jerked out of hyperspace upon encountering an ion storm. The ship was damaged, but completed the trip to Kashyyyk and was repaired. Jacen kept Ion and her babies in a small cage, and part of his collection of strange animals.
